Due to the US Postal Service practice of irradiating packages, Hydro-Gardens will not guarantee any seeds sent by the US Mail. This practice will sterilize the seeds and they will not germinate. We will still send your order by US Mail but if they do not germinate, they will not be replaced.
We use UPS as our primary carrier. If we send by UPS the guarantee is in place.

LAUREL Pelleted (Pills) Lettuce Seed

Laurel: Bibb variety. An excellent Summer variety, does not bolt during long days and shows no tipburn under poor growing conditions. A compact, solid variety with an attractive well-closed base. Approx. 90% germination at 70^oF day & nights. Laurel is uniform, medium green color, tipburn tolerant.
Resistant to BL 1-4,6,7,10,13-15

It takes about 2 weeks to get a lettuce seedling ready to transplant. The lettuce will be ready to harvest in 4 - 5 weeks from transplant during the summer and 7 -8 weeks from transplant during the winter.
